Stevenson is back, premier League game week four just concluded and it was a banger. The champions League is currently on, and I must say, it doesn't have quite as much hype and excitement as it usually does. I guess I can attribute that partly to the absence of my team (Chelsea) in the competition :(. Anyhoo, great news; I will be getting back to my photography content pretty soon. I know a lot of people have missed seeing my work, and I myself have missed taking pictures. A friend reminded me and I realized I needed to get back to what I love doing. So for folks who aren't so much a fan of football, keep an eye out for new contents.

Last gameweek was a decent one. Not one of the exciting ones, but it had some interesting results and also a déjàvu. Let's dive straight into it.

SouthHampton Vs Man United; 0-3

The early weekend kick-off was at St Mary's stadium, which saw United pick up their second win in twice as many games. After getting battered at their home stadium by Liverpool last time out. United seemed to have found their mojo again as they flipped the scoreline away to the saints. A Cameron Archer saved penalty seemed to had turned the tide as De Ligt headed in the opener in the thirty fifth minute. Six minutes later, Marcus Rashford got his first of the season with a brilliant curler. Substitute, Alejandro Garnacho gave United a third at the dying minutes of the game after drawing a foul earlier from the Saints captain who saw red. A great day at the office for the Red Devils.

Man City Vs Brentford; 2-1

Erling Haaland is a robot. He netted twice to earn Pep Guradiola's team all three points and make them the only team in the Premier League with a hundred percent record. Yoanne Wissa has stunned the Citizens just twenty two minutes in, but Haaland has something to say. He now has 99 goals for Man City in all competition since his arrival last summer. After wining last months player of the season, he looks like he would be picking up the trophy yet again.

Liverpool Vs Nottingham Forest: 0-1

A shocking result saw Nottingham Forest, pick up all three points at Anfield to earn a first win in fifty five years at Anfield. 😳 Arne Slot's perfect start to life was halted by a brilliant curling finish by Hudson Odoi to ensure Nuno Espiritos boys earned all three points.

Aston Villa Vs Everton; 3-2

De Javu?! In my last review, we talked about how poor Everton were and how they conceded three goals after being two goals ahead. Same happened again this game week as Sean Dyche's boys had an early first half lead thanks McNeil and Calvert Lewins goals, but it seemed Unai Emery's men where not going to let this one go as Ollie Watkins brace and a long range stunner from Jhon Dhuran ensured Everton were still without point.

Bournemouth Vs Chelsea; 0-1

A Another nail bitting game at the vitality stadium as the cherries took on Chelsea. The game started of well for the home side as they had numerous chances and even got a penalty which Roberto Sanchez saved to keep the score at nil nil. Chelseas hero was substitute, Christopher Nkunku who strongly danced his way through the defence after receiving a pass from debutant, Jason Sancho. Enzo Maresca would be a relieved man as his team were far from their best.

Tottenham Vs Arsenal; 0-1

The heavyweight game of the week was the London derby at Tottenham stadium. David Raya was the star of the show has he made multiple saves to help his team get all three points and a clean sheet. We know who gets the bragging rights now, hehe.

Lol, this is why you did not qualify for the Champions League 😆. Because it is not for the kids like Chelsea.

I am so sure, with the way Haaland is scoring goals this season, I don't think there is any striker who can compete with him because he has a strong teammate and this is helping him so well. Let's see how the Premier League will be this season. I know it's going to be so competitive.

Broooo
Haaland has another again today
It's crazy.

I appreciate your always popping in bro 🤝🏿

Yes, that guy is such a beast. But I think the team he is now is really helping him grow well.

Agreed
I hope he gets the Balon d'or

He deserves it

Yeah actually..
