I hadn't really thought about how if the CBA was allowed full access to foreigners how it would likely stunt the progress of their nation's own talent but you are absolutely correct. If they were allowed to field 5 ex NBA players that is likely exactly what all of them would do.
My preference for the WNBA has a lot to do with the attitude of the NBA and how a lot of games devolve into a trash-talking show that reminds me more of WWE than basketball. Personal beefs devolving into near altercations on the court, players seeking to humiliate someone on the other team rather than going for victories. It is still a good game but lately I feel as though almost every NBA game is also decided in the last 3 minutes of the game but perhaps that is just a coincidence.
It’s okay I understand you, but you know for me the trash talking and the personal beef between players and those last 3 minute game changers is what make the game so interesting, wonderful and very entertaining on my side. Through that is your opinion and I fully respect that 👍🏼👌🏽
