I don't seems to understand you, are you saying Getty images are not free for use despite making reference to the source?
The last time I checked, Getty images are free for use on blogs, websites in as much as it is not for commercial use.

Yes that is correct. Supplying the source doesn't give you their permission. We all know we have to stay away from them. About 6-8 months ago users were getting down voted for using them and we don't want to have to start again.
