LESSONS I HAVE LEARNT FROM FOOTBALL-MY FAVORITE SPORT

It might surprise you to see a lady who takes football as her favorite sport....well..My favourite football club is CHELSEA.

Football has been my favorite sport right from my high school,I had to join the school football team and currently I am in my college departmental football team and guess what? Our class is the winning team in the faculty..I play the position of a defender ( Number 9 to be precise) reason being that I can't run faster (lol) but asides football being my favorite sport there are some inspiration I've came to gain from it which I would be sharing here as it is very important...

LESSONS I LEARN FROM WATCHING AND PLAYING FOOTBALL

1. Before the start of the game each team come together for prayers.
   Lesson: Prayers is very essential in everything we do ,we should always start our day or our engagements with prayers thereby committing everything to God.

2.Once the game begins,every player would focus on the ball and not take his eyes off the ball,every team player always strive to get the ball and score regardless of their opponent.
Lesson: This has taught me the power of focus and preserving in our goals no matter what happens even if we have people against our goals/vision we should always be passionate and remain focused on it.

3.Each team has a coach and you would always see the coach standing and directing the players on what to do,you could tell if a player is doing well by the look on the coach face,the coach always encourage and clap for his players even when they win or fail.
Lesson: In life we all need a forward-thinking and active mentor who will always direct us in whatever we are doing,someone who won't discriminate us but rather correct and encourage us .

1. Only players who score a goal would be celebrated,only players that score the goal will be announced.
   Lesson: You are only celebrated by what you have done and not what you have not done.

5.There are Rules,if any players breaks the rules of the game ,they will always be awarded with a red card!
Lesson:Life is all about principles and laws,when you follow the laws you become successful but when you break the principles you pay the consequences of it. 6.When a player is dribbled,they try to pass the ball to their fellow team players. Lesson: In life,have good and right friends who are on the same page with you and wish the best for you,friends who would want to see you grow and encourage you to pursue your goals.

These are some of the many lessons I have learnt while watching and playing football. I hope these has inspired you.
