Due to the global acceptance of the EPL, their clubs are worth a fortune. So, investors are buying their clubs just to get a slice of the broadcasting money. If you check the top 20 richest clubs in the world, you'll have at least 6 from EPL. Thus, mid-table teams can afford to buy talented players. In La Liga, Barca, Madrid, and to a lesser extent, Atletico are the only rich teams.

You are on point, and that makes the difference. Sevilla and Valencia are also investing. I hope that works out well.

The financial gap those teams have to bridge to Barca and Madrid is huge. In EPL, you can hardly take a player off a top 6 team except the club wishes to sell. La Liga, Barca and Madrid takes whichever player they want from any other team except Real and Atleti.

To be honest, it's impossible unless they got a Sheikh as an owner. But Madrid and Barca sign only the best players. Even the top six from England are the second choice when Elclasico's opportunity knocks.

I eagerly await ATM, Sevilla, and Villareal to strike this season.

Considering how good these teams have performed in Europe in recent years, they are very good teams. But, the fact they need Barca and Madrid to have terrible seasons so as to crack the top 2 is the real indication of the gap in La Liga.

True but it's been a while since Barca won the league. They were dominating. Last year Sevilla rivaled Madrid. If they can keep up the good work though they lost their opening. ATM is looking Sharp and Barcelona are in serious business. Guttoso will make Valencia monster and they will be hard to play. And there is always some mid table temas to make things unbalanced and the mighty man is back. Malaga is back in the league. There goalkeeper will play a decent role in title race. I am excited to see what transpires.
