Finally, we're back after the third international break of the season. Only one more set of World Cup qualifiers to go and then we can look forward to the World Cup itself next year but until then, we can have a good run on the domestic action.
Talking of the qualifiers, did anyone see Leeds' Raphina taking centre stage for Brazil to earn his first caps? In their last game against Uruguay in which they won 4-1, he played the full game and scored two goals. The man is incredible and unless we get into the Champions League, it's very possible we'll lose him at the end of the season but as we only paid Rennes 11m for him, he has to be worth 100m if he keeps up this form and goes all the way to the World Cup with Brazil.
For your watching pleasure, here is a Raphina showcase reel I just found on YouTube.
Back to today, and the latest kick-off is a London derby...
@nathen007's Prediction
Going into the weekend's game and Chelsea are sitting proudly at the top of the table and although it sticks in my throat to say so, thoroughly deserve it.
Thomas Tuchel has been a breath of fresh air and got his team performing as a team with devastating results.
Although Lukaku is fit again, Chelsea still have a few injury worries with Pulisic, Rudiger and N'Golo Kante all out but it shouldn't worry them too much with the depth of squad they have.
Newly promoted Brentford featuring ex Leeds boy Pontus Janssen are excelling themselves sitting happily up in 7th place. They will have Kristoffer Ajer and Vitaly Janelt back after slight injuries picked up in their win at West Ham.
Brentford will need Wissa to keep up his superb record of 5 goals in 6 games and the Brentford defence will have to be at the top of their game to keep Chelsea's superstar team at bay.
Much as I'd like, I can't see there being much of a shock today and so...
Lets hope for some upsets this weekend.
Looks there has been one, but of the wrong kind lol! Why Am I lolling? I'm in tears here!!
