The most incredible news of the day is that Real Madrid, got turned over at home by Sheriff Tiraspol!

WHO?

Sheriff Tiraspol, the Moldovan champions and who now sit proudly above both Real Madrid AND Inter Milan to head group D of the Champions League. It's stuff like this that makes football the best sport in the world! Let's hope they keep it up and get through to the knockout stages.

So I guess we ought to stick with the Champions League today and hope for another big team to take a fall...

Who can forget that wonderful night two weeks ago when the Swiss champions, Young Boys, hit an injury-time winner to consign Man. U to a tough defeat, despite Grandaldo's goal. Tonight I will be looking forward to a repeat with Villareal full of confidence after beating scum in the final of the Europa League last season.

Scum has no Rashford, Maguire, Shaw or Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Of course, they have Ronaldo but so what? They couldn't even score against Villa at home on Saturday so I'd suspect that Villarreal, who will be playing without fear of the toothless Mancs will batter them!

Not much more to say about this so I look forward to...

The Small Print

In the first goalscorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will roll over if there is no winner. If more than one person chooses the same first goal scorer or correct score, the prize is shared, and everyone gets a little upvote! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget the new rule that only people with a rep of 50 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. The bonus will be added to any winnings ONLY if Leeds United win and/or Man U lose and all pay-outs will never exceed 50% of post pay-out. Other bonuses are paid out at my discretion.
