Big Champions League Night for the Reds.

Liverpool travelled to Red Bull Arena Leipzig to play their third fixture of the group stage of the Champions League. It's a game against RB Leipzig, a German club that has only conceded two league goals this season.

Liverpool equally has a decent defensive record. So, a game between these two sides was heavily anticipated to be one to look out for.

First Half;

The first half started with RB Leipzig being in control of the game. They pushed attacking plays, but couldn't score from any of them. Liverpool, on the other hand, defended as a unit. They worked together to defend from the front to the back.

Liverpool started taking control of the game after the 20th minute. However, RB Leipzig capitalized on that and pushed a counterattack. They got a goal from that, but the goal wasn't given due to offside.

That came as an eye-opener for Liverpool. They picked up from that and got their goal within the next 5 minutes interval.

The rest of the first half felt quite balanced. Both teams defended really well. This half of the game ended 0 - 1 in favor of Liverpool.

Second Half;

This second half was a rollercoaster ride with each team having their moment of attack and defense. Liverpool didn't have a good start to this half of the game though. We struggled to control the game.

With just 15 minutes into the second half of the game, Liverpool's Coach decided to start doing his substitutions. The first person to be taken off was Salah. He didn't look excited about that. Same as some fans who were complaining on X.

For me, I didn't care about that. Salah wasn't particularly doing some magic. That aside, we have a tough series of games to play.

Liverpool were still under pressure.

Kelleher had to step in and make crucial saves. Liverpool players also contributed massively to defend their 1-goal lead. They were stepping in to put their body on the line, block shots, intercept passes, and defend our backline. Liverpool's defense has been no joke this season.

We got a win and got a clean sheet on a Champions League night. That's awesome.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.

Was wondering if Bayern wasn't the reds also but I remembered you would be the one person watching anfield in the midst of the camp delights 😂😂

Seems like it was also an entertaining match, I guess I'll see the highlights later in the day

Bro... I was focused on Liverpool's game ooo. Haha.

Bayern had a rough night. Barca didn't give them any breathing space. It was also an interesting game.

Nunez giving us that win has to be major for him...

After playing as a 6 throughout Pl😂😂😂
