It's a unique Premier League season this year with a winter World Cup interrupting what's been a great start to the Hive FPL.
However, FPL lovers need not despair as we've got a World Cup Fantasy League set-up to fill the 6 weeks without Premier League action!
Better yet, for those of you who might find a 38 match season a bit much to really get into, then the World Cup equivalent is just 7 game weeks spread across an action packed month of international football. Let's not forget the football World Cup is the biggest sporting event on the planet so what are you waiting for? Follow the steps below to join the Hive World Cup fantasy league now!

Prizes
Prizes will be awarded for each game week as well as for the overall winners of the Hive World Cup fantasy league
Game week winners
Each of the 7 game weeks will see the top 10 players with Hive accounts in our mini-league gain rewards based on the payout from the review that we publish via this account of the relevant game week

How to Join
It's easy to join and play the Hive World Cup fantasy league by following these 3 simple steps
Step 1 - Create your team
Click here to join the official FIFA World Cup fantasy league
You'll be asked to pick a squad of 15 players with a budget of $100 million.
The squad must consist of
- 2 Goalkeepers
- 5 Defenders
- 5 Midfielders
- 3 Forwards
During the initial 3 game weeks, the maximum number of players you can select representing any one nation is 3.
If you're pressed for time or just want to play for fun then you can use the 'autopick' feature and the site will select your 15 players for you!
The good news is that you can also make as many changes to your teams as you like up until 20 November when the matches themselves start.
Once you've picked your squad, hit the confirm button and complete the steps to set-up your FIFA account.
Step 2 - Link your Hive account to your team and get the league join code
So that you're eligible to receive the prizes (see above), we need to know both your Hive World Cup fantasy league 'display name' and your Hive username.
Please complete the simple form here
If you don't have a Hive account yet than read our previous post on how to get one for free HERE
After you hit the 'submit' button you'll be provided the link that you need to join the Hive World Cup fantasy league (see below)
If you miss the link to join the league or have any other problems then join our discord channel here
Step 3 - Join the Hive World Cup fantasy league
Open the link that you were provided after you completed step 2 and click 'join now'
That's it you've now successfully joined the Hive World Cup league
How to play the game
