During the preseason of the NBA Lakers on October 12, 2021, after a press conference Lebron once said he didn't like the ending of the film "Squid Game", and 2 days earlier the director of "Squid Game", Hwang Do-hyuk replied to Lebron's criticism.
At that time Lebron "confessed" to his teammate Anthony Davis after the press conference, "but come on, just get on a plane and meet your daughter. What are you doing anyway?," said Lebron James.
When interviewed by the Guardian, the director of "Squid Game" responded to the criticism, "LeBron James is cool and he can say whatever he wants," said Hwang Dong-Hyuk 🤔🤔."If he had a better ending, maybe he'd make his own. I watched it and maybe texted him, 'I love his (LBJ) show, except for the ending,' added the director of the Squid Game film." I'm not going to change the ending of the squid game movie. That's the ending of the film I chose," he said.
Not stopping here, LeBron James apparently responded to the comments via his Twitter account with emoticons🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
