An official in Zamalek raises controversy about the crowd's attendance in front of Esperance
Tariq Hashish, financial advisor at Zamalek club, sparked controversy over the crowd's attendance against Esperance Tunisia on Tuesday in the African Champions League.
Hashish said, through his account on "Facebook": "I do not know exactly who prevented the fans from attending the match tomorrow .. CAF or another party .. I doubt there is a third party."
The hashish post came despite Zamalek announcing on its official website that the match will be held without a public presence, despite the efforts of the White Castle management to attend at least 500 fans.
Kwoura learned that Zamalek had not actually received any official speech stating that the public attendance at the Esperance meeting was banned by CAF.
Zamalek ranks third with only two points in Group D, which is led by Esperance with 7 points, followed by Mouloudia Algeria with 5 points, while Senegalese Tongeth is in last place.
