These are previews from matches involving Belgian Teams with all the latest on team news, player form, injuries along with my personal betting angles, ...
I have been so busy with Crypto & Splinterlands exploding last week that I now need to flip a switch putting all my focus on the Belgian Football league again. One match as always on Friday, here is the full preview...
Racing Genk vs Oostende
Racing Genk played a good 1st half against a rather poor Standard and deserved more than the 0-0 HT score, after the break, it was a more even match with Standard being able to keep up based on having higher enthusiasm eventually making the 1-0 as Genk in most of their matches fails to keep focus for 90 minutes. There wasn't an immediate reaction from Genk and they weren't able to create much slill managing to score the late 1-1 as Standard crawled back too much for a fiar FT score. Oostende lost against Charleroi at home with 0-3 which was both a harsh score but also not as they clearly lacked scoring power and showed to be vulnerable in their defense. With many of the key players of last season having left, they need to build again with players that aren't of the same quality so coach Blessing will have his work and it is unlikely to see Oostende perform anywhere close to what they showed last season. They are a team that generally plays open and forward at home and more defensive away which showed in the stats of the totals last season. (Over team at home +20.82% ROI / Under Away +27.06% ROI). Genk Striker Onuachu doesn't seem to be at peak form yet and their Columbian defensive Trio Munoz-Lucumi-Cuesta still aren't back with Thorstvedt being on the bench after injury. So I don't see Racing Genk being at their strongest yet expecting Oostende to make life for them really annoying. Betting Oostende is not an option for me and I'm also not comfortable taking a big favorite handicap on Genk just yet. I will basically be waiting it out and see where it goes. If Genk takes the lead, I fully expect them to score at least 1 more goal later in the match and them getting a goal against also never comes as a surprise even though I have a hard time seeing Oostende scoring 2 or more. The only bet I was willing to take a tiny stab at (low limits) was
Corners Under 9.5 @ 1.98 since Genk is just not a team that creates corner after corer even when they fall behind. (they went 4 Over - 13 Under against that handicap last season at home)

fantastic analysis. but for me i think it is better to play Genk as over 2.5goals or both team to score. the reason for this is because Genk hardly keep clean sheet.
i think the match ended in 2-2 which my option will have been a good one when played for team that have a leaking defense.
honestly i think the team need to find solution to their defensive issue. this may not really favour them if they meet with a team that knows how to keep clean sheet.
actually this is the best prediction one can play for the match which actually came to past at the end of the game.
one thing that is so certain is that it is easier for camel to pass through the eyes of a needle than for Genk to keep clean sheet.
thanks for sharing this fantastic update
