Variance went against me yesterday as it should have been a push on 3 matches combined yet it ended with a 0.5W-1.5L-0.5P and for long it looked like there were going to be 2.5 losses on the main bets. Sunday will be more about in-game betting.

Genk vs Antwerp

This is a top match between 1st and 2nd in the league and both come in with a good form. Both are capable of scoring goals with 2.5xg and 1.63xg in favor on average during the season but also tend to be ok defensively with 1.18xg and 1.24xg against. It is however expected to be an entertaining match and Genk coach already stated that he doesn't expect a 0-0 score. The performance of Genk is pretty similar away and home while Antwerp clearly does better in home matches which I guess explains the -0.75 line. I am going in with a slight lean that Antwerp is too big of an underdog and if odds would hit 1.8+ for the +1 line I might have a small bet at it. The over and Genk corners are also on my radar. For now though I have no rush to get in and I will see how it plays out in-game. No Pre-Game Bets

Cercle Brugge vs Charleroi

This is a match between teams who a heading in a different direction. Cercle started the season really bad but recently started winning while Charleroi started great but now no longer seem to be able to win a match. Even in the cup playing with close to an A-Squad they got trashed by Patro with a 4-1 score while Cercle with more or less a B-Squad easily won their match. Just based on form, I had to take 0.3 units on Cercle Brugge 1st Half +0 @ 1.805 as even with their poor form included they have yet to lose a 1st half at home while Charleroi only won that once in the first week against Stvv who were not ready yet. Cercle has too many matches where scores go wild to bet the under while I am leaning on Under 2.75 as fear with both might be a bit bigger than the will to win.

Anderlecht vs Kortrijk

Anderlecht is coming off their worst performance in years against Club Brugge and they have been slipping away in the standings after only taking 1 win in the last 5 matches. At times they have been able to show ok things but overall it has not been good enough and their defense is rarely flawless. Kortrijk overall has been a disappointment especially away from home where in the last 2 they lost 3-0 against both Union and Mechelen. However, their last 2 home matches they managed to win with 1-0 and 2-1 against Beerschot and Genk. I understand the -1.25 line but at the same time would not be surprised for Kortrijk to score given that Anderlecht is without Dendoncker while Vertonghen is also still injured. So my lean is mostly on the over and I already toon just 0.1 unit on Anderlecht win & Both To score @ 3.02 which feels worth the risk.

Beerschot vs AA Gent

Beerschor remains a team who are near sure to relegate as they simply aren't good enough. They qualified in the cup against a 2nd division team and also won recently against Anderlecht. One of the changes is that their coach switched to a full defense approach so it can be expected that AA Gent takes the initiative while the home team lures on the counters. At the same time in the home match against Anderlecht it looked like Beerschot was going to play a bit more forward again. So it remains to be seen what their actual tactic will be. AA Gent is a team who so far hasn't impressed in their play but managed to take the points even though lately they started seeing worse results. a 0-2 loss without chance against Genk and before 2 draws against Union and Stvv. However, those aren't really the biggest reference compared to Beerschot. My only option in this match is to oppose Beerschot and at 1.8 odds for an away win it kind of gets tempting. Gent has yet to win a corners matchup away but at the same time, Beerschot only managed that once in 5 home matches. No Pre-Game Bets
