Not really the outcome I anticipated in the match yesterday as Beerschot once again switched to a more offensive style which made me quickly opt out of the 1H under. An excellent first 20 minutes from Anderlecht also got me blinded a bit after their dominance dropped later in the match not showing enough to really be able to even get the draw. So overall a limited -0.4 unit loss which could have been more if I was more aggressive on my staked. 3 Difficult matches now on Saturday where value and winners seems to be opposite.

Westerlo vs Club Brugge

The story of Club Brugge this season is that they should be head-and-shoulders above the competition winning matches like the top teams in the Eredivisie while they are getting really soft handicaps which they have gotten crushed on going 2.5W-6L-1.5. It looks like today Olsen and Nilsson are injured which leaves them with Skoras and Jutgla who aren't as good. They tend to be a team who starts out good and lead the 1H away rankings but they never have been consistent for 90 minutes and get too many goals against. Westerlo started the season strong but since have dropped back a bit. It showed in the match against Beerschot that they have problems to play a team who leaves them the ball and focuses on defense also because they are vulnerable in defense with one of the worst goalkeepers in the league right now. So I do expect Club Brugge to start out as the better team but they have shown not to be trusted this season under Hayen. Westelo has been a high corners team at home with an average of 14.4 corners, Brugge however only once went above 10 away. I'm just going to wait this one out and see how it goes. No Pre-Game Bets

Cercle Brugge vs Dender

Cercle Brugge so far in the league had a horror season while at the same time they showed in Europe that they still can be a dominant team. Their defense hasn't been the best and their 1st goalkeeper got injured leaving Delanghe in goal who so far has not impressed. At the same time, in the previous home match against Stvv it looked like they had their defense better in order. Cercle also has some matches where things are wide open like the one in Europe against st Gallen. I do expect that they will put in all the energy they have in order to get a result today as it's much needed knowing they are in 2nd last place. Dender is a team with a big divergence in goals as at home they went 1.5W-3.5L against the over and away they are 3W-0L-1P against the over line. In their last away match against Genk they fully crawled back which eventually ended in a 4-0 loss even though Dender could have scored. I do expect Cercle Brugge to take the initiative and my main lean on this match is Cercle Brugge on the 1H corners. I do expect Cercle to win but would need much higher odds to be willing to take the gamble on that. For now also No Pre-Game Bets

Union vs AA Gent

AA Gent is a team I see as rather fortunate in their results and the points they took based on the level of play they put on the pitch. They also seems to be able to perform better at home compared to away so my general idea is to have them as a team to possibly oppose. However, they are getting a massive +1 handicap today against Union who kind of had a struggle themselves. At times, Union looked closer to the team they were in the previous years but the lack in offensive finishing power remains a big item. So this is one where I see Union as the winner but value on AA Gent given the handicap that is put on it. The smartest thing is likely to also just stay away as see how things play out in-game. I'm still leaning toward the 1H over 4 corners even though it the past matches it didn't really work out. No Pre-Game Bets
