Since Liverpool has parted ways with Giorginio Wijnaldum who left the team on a free transfer to the French league Paris Saint Germain on a 3 year deal, Liverpool has been looking for a replacement which they are yet to get a better one for him. Wijnaldum has been a better player who has serve Liverpool for a very long time but there was no agreements which force him to move to the French league where he was also paid more than what Liverpool has been offering him throughout his stay at Anfield.
Well, Wijnaldum departure will not make tge team stop from playing or perform well but his vital role will surely be felt for a period of time. So Liverpool has been hovering larousse looking for a player to take his place but they are yet to still get one, There have been several rumors of several big names including Italian Manuel Locatelli and Spanish Saúl Niguez, but now Liverpool have a new midfielder on the block which could cost them lesser money rather than spending a huge amount signing player die to the ongoing pandemic that has penetrated into the club's finance.
Guido Rodríguez, who is said to be on Real Betis transfer list is Liverpool alternative, he is 27 years old and the transfer fee I not something to worry about because it is cheaper than other players Liverpool has been settling for. Guido Rodríguez has spent less than 2 season with Real Betis since moving from Mexican CF America club. His performance has attracted Liverpool and if the agreements were reached the transfer could complete before the beginning of the season.
He is a good player but I think he will need time to adapt to the premier league
I just hoped so because it won't be easy for him.
It is yet to be seen how to the seem how the Argentine midfielder will fit in into the club. But certainly with enough time he will adapt been quite a decent player. The Wijnaldum will certainly be filled up and a more better player may even shine brighter. Would love to see this move go through has the Meyerside red club urgently need someone in that department with barely a week to go for the new league season to kick off. Guido Rodríguez happens to be the best candidate so far.
