Look who is watching me closely.

I was enjoying the bright sun, when these little insects caught my attention. I would have missed to notice it, if they do not showed me their two antenna in front. These are consisered to be grasshopper or call it locusts or any other scientifically proven name. But the presence of these around means spoiling the plants.

Being living close to wild, I often comes across different species of insects. Even I had seen other species of the grass hopper like piramintis. But this one is first time visitor to my terrace garden. Sitting comfortably on one of the green leaf, and trying to eat it, when I get hold of this little insects. For sure the presence of these is risk for the garden, as they definitely going to destroy the plants.

What more attracted me is their approach towards me. As I was clicking the little insects, it pretended as if it is not alive. It remain stand still and does not showed any movements. It remain standstill moat of time. Seems not afraid with the external danger in me.

A little research over the internet, led me to its identity. It comes from the spear headed grasshopper category mainly because of the the two antenna present in front. Anyway, I am not so well versed with biological aspect. I am leaving it to you enjoy the following pictures.

All the images were taken using my smartphone. I tried to be as closer as possible to welcome the insects.

I thought it was a grasshopper unless you said it is a kind of thing. I don't usually like insects but these pictures made it look amazing..

@tipu curate

They belongs from the grasshopper family...but of different gene

These kinds of insects are mostly found on the leaves of various vegetable plants, I also sometimes see them in our land.

That's true...they are the plant destroyer...making mess with all the green leaves
