The little soldiers of our Planet

When I see a bee, I am always mesmerized by the sound they make and the constant movements they make, the zeal with which they make them. Almost unreal. The atmosphere they create around themselves is unreal. As if they were beings from another planet.

As if only a being from another planet can be so diligent, hardworking and dedicated.

And it seems to know very well that by its actions it saves the planet and this planet is constantly hanging by a thread and now it will collapse if it does not go to this flower and this and that over there. If it doesn't take pollen from here, here and there.

There is no time to waste, to unwind and to wait. The planet will collapse. There is no time for looking around, thinking and feeling or showing emotions. There is only one thing - work to do. And they do it with the greatest passion and devotion.

Little soldiers in combat gear, but in fact without one, constantly on the battlefield of life. Of nature.

Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you.

"Little soldiers in combat gear...." so so true. And these hard working little soldiers are such an example to us. @craigcryptoking and I can appreciate your photos - both being beekeepers. We love and understand how vital the bees are to us

Thank you, @buckaroobaby! I have always admired the work of beekeepers (equal in importance to that of bees) and also their relationship with the bees they care for 💛🐝💚

Lovely story!
Some say they are actually much more important to life on Earth than we think and know of, so far.
I admire so much their relentlessness, if I may say so :)

They are indeed relentless, these little soldiers 💛🐝💚
But you know what? There is another aspect of their work and the survival of our Planet that I did not mention in my post above, and which I have witnessed this year, this spring - that there may be no blossoms to work on. Some plants skipped their blossoming stage this year and had no flowers/blossoms. So, let's see what awaits us in the future. I am waiting quietly and without great expectations, because we really do not know what awaits us, only next year.

I do not know if it is true, but I heard that if the bees extinct, then we (humans) would also extict after four years (because of food shortage), because they keep alive the plants and crops. If that is true, then they are really much more important. They are essential/indispensable. They are maintaining the life as we currently know on this planet. So if they die, then we also die.

I've heard the same. I hope we never understand if it is true! ;)

@xplosive, this may be true, but there have been so many species of bees and so many species of insects lately (at least I see new ones every day that I haven't seen before). Many of them do the same as bees - they spread pollen from flowers. I don't think the bees will die and disappear all of a sudden. And there will certainly be other animals to replace them. Our planet is suffering severely from many other problems at the moment - at least from its relentless pollution with anything. The pandemic itself is currently exacerbating the tragedy, encouraging the production and continued use and disposal of chemicals and plastics. So, we will destroy ourselves long before we destroy the bees.

Amazing photos very much
