hi all my friends. Have you ever seen this animal hanging around your house? This looks like a really ridiculous animal. I saw him walking on the wall of my room.
Lenyai is one type of species that is found in many sub-tropical countries. Lenyai has a scientific name that is Geophilus from the Centipedes family (centipede) or ground centipede.
Lenyai will bleed green blood when they are in a threatened condition. This is how Geophilus defends against predators. This animal has a very strong adhesion, even though it looks like fragile, but when trying to kill this animal is very elastic and strong.
Habitat
You may be wondering, how can a Lenyai animal breed in your home? Habitat Lenyai is fond of humid places. Besides in the mountains, these animals also appear in coastal areas. Lenyai breed by laying eggs in rotten wood, trees, moist soil, even in slightly wet clothing.
Is Lenyai dangerous?
There is no information yet that Lenyai is dangerous for humans. Several times I held the vanishing crawl in the hand and nothing happened like a bite or something. That vanishing can enter the ear is a possible thing and we must be aware of.
Mysterious
This animal is really a mystery, often I find animals disappear with the mystery situation. Previously I looked around the walls of the room looking clean, but when I looked away from the others and looked back at the wall the animal suddenly appeared without knowing where it came from. Have you ever experienced it?
Myth
When I was a child, I had heard a scary story about Lenyai, that there was a story about vanishing that walked creeping into the ear and multiplying to eat away and damage the brain. Is it true that vanish can enter the ear or a vital place? The story that I heard is until now a myth that developed in the community.
Expel Lenyai
To expel and overcome the disappearance that lives in the house, some things we can do are:
Keep the house clean by routinely cleaning the floor, the bed to the bathroom
Don't pile up dirty clothes carelessly
If there is a wet towel, immediately dry it or keep it away from the bed
Try the sunlight into the house to reduce humidity
Patch with putty wood that began to perforate so it does not become a nest to lay eggs Lenyai.
Probably this animal thinks the same abou us ... :)
These are fascinating insects. There are a few sort of like them where I live but they are usually out in the forest. Nice detail in your post about them.
actually in the woods is a suitable place for these insects because there are a lot of old wood that has fallen in the woods and yes like to live in a place like this. sometimes he also strayed into houses and looked for damp places. maybe even to lay eggs. I think so and thank you very much for reading my writing today @lightsplasher.
Here in this community you can find "fascinating insects", indeed, however, in this post there aren't any insects (which have six legs only ...). :-)
