Hello, good weekend to all lovers of insects and nature.
Today I want to share with you some photos that I took five years ago of a beautiful owl butterfly.
I tell you that that time, we had traveled to the north of Argentina, in the province of Misiones, to visit the Iguazú Falls National Park. These are located in the middle of the Amazon jungle between Argentina and Brazil.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes unas fotos que tomé hace cinco años atrás a una hermosa mariposa lechuza.
Les cuento que esa vez, habíamos viajado al norte de Argentina, en la provincia de Misiones, para visitar el parque nacional de las cataratas de Iguazú. Éstas se encuentran en plena selva amazónica entre Argentina y Brasil.
Obviously there are no words to describe such a wonderful place!
But the thing that surprised me the most were the thousands and thousands of varieties of butterflies that surrounded us. They were everywhere and perched on us.
One of the ones that caught my attention is the "owl butterfly".
It is a much larger butterfly than the others, and the most attractive thing is the drawing of two large owl eyes that it has on its wings.
Ovviamente no hay palabras para describir tanta maravilla de ese lugar!
Pero la cosa que más me sorprendió, fueron las miles y miles de variedades de mariposas que nos rodeaban. Estaban en todas partes y se posaban sobre nosotros.
Una de las que me llamaron mucho la atención es la "mariposa lechuza".
Es una mariposa mucho más grande de tamaño de las demás, y lo más atractivo son el dibujo de dos grandes ojos de lechuza que tiene sobre sus alas.
The inhabitants of the place explained to us that nature does nothing by chance. Those large circles on its wings are not only aesthetic, they serve to ward off predators, since when the butterfly is among the vegetation, it truly seems that there is an owl watching you.
Los abitantes del lugar nos explicaron que la naturaleza no hace nada por casualidad. Esos grandes circulos en sus alas, no solo son estéticos, ellos sirven para alejar depredadores, ya que cuando la mariposa está entre la vegetación, verdaderamente parece que hay una lechuza que te observa.

Bello! Non conosco nessuno che vive in Argentina. Come è la situazione nel tuo Paese? Ultimamente non mi sono arrivate buone notizie dall’Argentina, mi hanno detto che l’inflazione è alta.
Ciao Stefano, la situazione qui è un vero disastro. Per fortuna noi lavoriamo bene e non ci manca nulla ma sì, l'inflazione è quasi del 90%, una follia. Le cose aumentano a dismisura! Noi ci salviamo perché siamo fabricanti di prodotti di panificazione, come pani in casetta, basi per pizze, pizze pronte da infornare, pani per hamburger ecc. E quindi stiamo al passo con gli aumenti anche noi, e la gente a mangiare non rinuncia. Abbiamo anche una pizzeria, fast food che da due mesi è chiusa perché mio marito ha avuto grandi problemi di salute e quindi un po' per stare dietro a lui, un po' per problemi gestionali, per il momento rimane chiusa.
Lo stesso la Argentina è un paese che ti dà molte opportunità, basta averne voglia. È un paese che ancora debe sviluppare molto, quindi qualsiasi cosa tu decida di fare, se lo fai bene e con costanza, funziona sicuro.
