В останній день жовтня на порозі мого будинку з’явився зеленуватий коник Phaneroptera nana. Він довго сидів нерухомо, ніби застиг у своїх думках. Можливо, прохолодний ранок знизив його активність. Не втрачаючи нагоди, я вирішив зафіксувати цю зустріч на фото. Коник ніби позував, дозволяючи зняти його з різних ракурсів.	On the last day of October, a greenish grasshopper Phaneroptera nana appeared on the doorstep of my house. It sat motionless for a long time, as if frozen in its thoughts. Perhaps the cool morning reduced its activity. Without missing the opportunity, I decided to capture this meeting in a photo. The grasshopper seemed to be posing, allowing me to photograph it from different angles.

On the last day of October, a greenish grasshopper Phaneroptera nana appeared on the doorstep of my house. It sat motionless for a long time, as if frozen in its thoughts. Perhaps the cool morning reduced its activity. Without missing the opportunity, I decided to capture this meeting in a photo. Під час обробки фотографій я помітив цікаву деталь: за ногу коника трималася інша комаха. Вона була нерухома, ніби чекала на щось чи ховалася. Цікаво уявити, чому ця комаха опинилася поруч. Можливо, вона обрала такий спосіб подорожі, щоб зекономити сили, або ж це був паразит, який використовував коника як джерело харчування. На жаль, встановити вид цієї загадкової попутниці мені поки що не вдалося. Вона залишається таємницею, яка додає фотографії ще більше інтриги.	While processing the photos, I noticed an interesting detail: another insect was holding onto the grasshopper's leg. It was motionless, as if waiting for something or hiding. It's interesting to imagine why this insect ended up nearby. Perhaps it chose this way of traveling to save energy, or it was a parasite that used the grasshopper as a food source. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to determine the species of this mysterious companion yet. It remains a mystery, which adds even more intrigue to the photo.

Під час обробки фотографій я помітив цікаву деталь: за ногу коника трималася інша комаха. Вона була нерухома, ніби чекала на щось чи ховалася. Цікаво уявити, чому ця комаха опинилася поруч. To be exact that's not a grasshopper. You can read more about the differences between grasshoppers and crickets in this post.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to determine the species of this mysterious companion yet.

Great pic! To determine the exact species you should start your research within the suborder Auchenorrhyncha and there in the infraorder Cicadomorpha.
