Hey.... Good afternoon friends hive all, may today be the best day for all of us in doing activities that are always useful for other friends.

A beautiful day in the place and environment I live in this time I naturally explore a small forest in the neighborhood I live in intending to find insects or small animals that have uniqueness and specialty for me of course.

Maybe for hive friends you have seen it often or it's a bit rare to get it, but it's an insect that has green wings and a combination of red and black belly and legs.

Clarification about beetles is actually a group of insects that form the order Coleoptera or called just dental "sheathed wings" Probably because most beetles have two pairs of wings that differ in color.

With a pair of wings in front is called an elytra. So this pair of wings hardens and thickens so that it can protect the wing pair behind it and also protect the back of the body in each species of beetle of course.

The color of this gem beetle is often brightly greenish and always has a little unique color, usually at the bottom. These gem beetles belong to the family buprestidae species thrive on plants in their curves, so they are also called metallic wood borers or flat head borers.

Jewel beetle green as a borer on ash trees in the union, due to the actions of non-indigenous people in this forest to those who must be responsible for the logging of hundreds of hectares of ash trees in america, so disturbed or extinct habitat gem beetle or jewel beetle in this area.
