Well, maybe about oligarchies as well. But like in real-life political systems, being dictatorships, oligarchies, or more or less genuine democracies, life is going on, and the people are communicating, sharing experiences, and learning. I lived in socialism - wanna be communism until my early adulthud and I learned quite a few things that have nothing to do with Tito, Marx, and the Communist party along the way.
Is Hive a virtual Oligarchy? I don't know. Maybe. But it looks like there is a genuine attempt to spread the resources among more people through how the platform works.
Let's say that is an Oligarchy. What are the other platforms with the same or similar concept? Are they any better in that sense of not being an Oligarchy?
Here I see some development and even fun going on. Ok, my perspective can (and probably, at least partially it is) be byass because I'm doing well here. But the thing is, I'm doing well without the necessity to
suck up to I don't know who of the supposed Oligarchs. I'm doing my thing, some people like it. Who likes upvotes, and I upvote what I like. And the virtual life in hope to get rich one day, goes on.
