I'd like to share some macro photos with the Fascinating Insects community. Parancistrocerus fulvipes, commonly known as the mason wasp, is a member of the family Vespidae. The mason wasp is a stinging wasp that also acts as an insect pollinator. This wasp, in addition to sipping flower nectar, adores perching on grass and can frequently be seen nibbling on grass flower panicles. These photos were taken with my phone's camera and an external macro lens in November 2021.
