An impulse buyer?

I don't think I am one of those. Nope. How could I be...?
I always go with a list of things I need when I go shopping, well... I usually go with a list if I don't forget it at home. Although what ends up in the basket besides the groceries or things that were on the list is sometimes more in quantity and value than the list carried.
post today! She mentioned an Airfryer and then I remembered that my son bought one for himself too (I seem to be the only one who is not in that club yet). No, I don't consider it an unnecessary investment if he will use it, and it was not me who bought it for him anyway. Still, his presence this weekend at home and the actual reason he came to visit us showed me that there were some wrong and unnecessary purchases recently - which is perfect since it may put me in a position to participate in this initiative.I still don't think I am an impulse buyer... At least I thought so until I opened @lizelle's
Trainers
It was his (my son's) suggestion to buy him a pair of trainers for Christmas. His old ones are quite worn out and he needed new ones for the gym he started to attend. It is important he practices some sports or does exercise, there is no doubt about that. I was happy to gift him something that would be of use and match his needs and taste so the day before Christmas we went together to find him something. For the record, it is not easy to go shopping with a youngster. 😂 When he finally chose these Joma trainers in one shop, I was relieved to think that this story was over.
The size... he usually wears a 43 but for some reason, he said that 42 for this model suited him better and that we should buy this size. I asked him there if he was sure, several times. He confirmed and since I was already tired of searching and was in a hurry to get home to prepare the meal I bought him this size. They were quite expensive, I was actually surprised. And I wish I had insisted that he get the bigger size... because it turns out that this weekend he came and brought the trainers, so I could return them to the store. They are small, of course! 🤦♀
Bathrobe
How nice would it be to have a bathrobe when I get out of the bathroom after a shower... I heard the thoughts of my husband one day! That gave me the idea to buy a bathrobe for him, but also for my son. I secretly went to buy my gift for them, and unfortunately, I found just in this colour the model that I liked because I didn't like the quality of the others. I was in a hurry (again)... the quality won over the colour and I bought these dark grey ones. Well, my son doesn't seem to like the colour choice because he brought it back home, unopened.
{note to myself -I definitely should not buy gifts when I am in a hurry!}
Shoes
This was my whim! One summer I saw them on a sale, and the price was incredible. Less than 3€.
It would be silly not to buy them... you know how this idea goes, one day maybe you will wear them hahaha. Well, a few years have passed, and my BeoShoes (a brand from Serbia) sandals with heels are still waiting for my feet. They can wait forever... as it is not my style anymore (maybe it never was but the price made me think it would be one day 😆)
So... what are your impulse buys? We already saw Lizelle's picks, you can check out what impulse bought the creator of this topic as well, but I think that it will be very difficult to beat this army of Santas. 😁
Well, as for the poor lonely shoes, that's something I'm guilty of. I can't even tell you just how many pairs I've bought that seem to fit in the store, but put them on to get go out, and it's a no no! So, my housekeeper is the same size and all the tight shoes go to her!

Best regards. Shopping for teenagers is complicated. It has reminded me of my son who is a pre-teen or already a teenager he is 11 years old. He went out with his mom and came back with two pairs of tennis shoes each in a loud color, or outrageous and big for his age he bought the 41,his mom says the smallest was the 39 and he said they bothered him, I don't know if it was because of the color or but he wanted the big ones and now he walks around with them very happy. My wife also took advantage and bought some sandals for her and some flip flops for me. She bought for everyone at home. In the store there was an offer, if you bought 4 pairs, they reduced 20% of the total price and so they were able to get a better price. Thank you for showing off your purchase. One question do they not accept hbd there. It would be a good idea.
To accept HBD would be great but it is not the case. Your wife did a good deal then, everyone got something and for a good price 😇

Hello dear friend from hive. I love to buy shoes. It is that without very useful I almost never have the opportunity. A few months ago I had a trip and I needed some tennis shoes, I bought them and because of the rush they are too tight I almost can't stand them on my feet. My son advised me to remove the inner insole and it improved the comfort. Then with hive earnings I went to the store and bought shoes for everyone in the house at a good price, but not in a hurry so I could choose the right size. Although my boy chose shoes bigger than his size. He says he grows fast. I think those black and white shoes look nice and would look good on your feet for a concert. Of course you have to mold them at home so they don't bother the day of the concert because if they hurt your feet they ruin your beautiful musical notes. Jjjjj. Thanks for sharing. I loved the tennis shoes for your son and the bathrobe to get out of the bathroom spectacular.

I never walk to a store when I'm hungry or in a hurry... I might say that I'm a person that doesn't love to buy things because they are at sales, but the urge of the possession and the idea of the missed opportunity scrambles with my brain! I have to take a weekend off to go through the things that I have at home that I don't use, or that are in good condition to sell it online
I am kind of in a hurry always 😂 as I don't like to spend too much time shopping and want to leave the shop as soon as the item is chosen. And that is always a good thing to do, selling online the stuff we don't use anymore. I do it to from time to time 😉

Omg, an impulse buy, I have those. From shirt, pants and especially shorts coz that's my favorite bottom wear. Some of them was already given though, to my Mommy D. Like I find those shorts plain, simple and pretty so I will buy them, but then when I get home to try them I always feel so disappointed because if not too big, then it doesn't fit will to me too, like there's always something wrong to my small butt, it looks flatter than ever when I tried them on, . Like ಥ‿ಥ. Its a good thing though most of them fits to my Mommy D. Lol, so its still not wasted ( ꈍᴗꈍ)

It was in Serbia, the price was in the currency that the country uses (Serbian dinar) and when converted into euros it was less than 3€. I say, simply unbelievable, three scoops of ice cream cost that much there 🤷♀

I also don't buy on impulse. I have too many clothes, I worked many years in stores and I am also indecisive when it comes to choosing because of my tastes. I also don't have money to spend on myself. In one thing I agree with you that buying something for young people is very difficult, it is better that they do it themselves. Put on those shoes, they are beautiful, and with the passage of time they can even come off and then you will throw them away without having worn them. Nice initiative. A hug @mipiano.🤗❤️
Yes, it is better they choose as it is difficult to get the right design, colour etc - well, I think it was the case with us too, when we were small. Until a certain age, it was normal that our parents chose their clothes but later, from our teenage days we were having already our own style so the choice was also on us. :)
