We have the pleasant news today that our community is now a Witness to the best blockchain that exists. From today we will start contributing to the stability of Hive in the best way possible and with the help of all of you, your vote is key for this. First of all, we want to thank @theycallmedan and @taskmaster4450 because their delegations allow us to be witnesses. The Cuban community will always be grateful to you and to all those who in one way or another have supported us and have made it possible for us to be at this point today, like @aliento and @eddiespino who from the beginning held out their hand.

For those who do not know us, HiveCuba was born in a small community on Telegram and has already achieved many unthinkable things at the beginning. We have been the main reason for the adoption of Hive in Cuba and it is a community achievement. Beyond @manuphotos, many people have contributed their grain of sand to how @janetedita, @crptogeek, @noakmilo, @nanixxx, @eduardo900613, @jomancub, @manuelernestogr, @karelnt, and @aylenmp have contributed. Many of the achievements we have had have been possible thanks to the help of all of them.

Our plans

It is no secret to anyone that being a Hive Witness entails remuneration and our community focuses on everything that it generates in the activities it carries out, but before that, what the witness generates must be essentially to cover the cost of the server. The server cost amounts to about 50 HBD and we have it contracted through the good people of @privex who have helped us with some difficulties (publication about that in a few days with @manuphotos), we must also mention the help of @arcange and @hivetrending on several occasions, to all thanks.

What does the community want with this?

• Grow in autonomy to carry out activities that promote Hive.
• Develop a website for the community (domain and server cost).
• Support physical activities of the community.
• Cover marketing expenses for collaborations in events outside the community.
• Support activities that promote the use of Hive in some way.
• Collaborate with other Hispanic or new communities.
• Others (leave us your ideas in the comments).

Our idea is to depend less on other projects like @valueplan and @hivecreators that have helped us so much, and at least for small things we can afford what we need.

For big events like HiveCubaCon (the biggest Hive event in Cuba), we should still need help, but for small meetings or covering essential expenses, it would help a lot. Other things are understood such as looking to increase the amount of Hive Power in our community so that we can have more voting power to support Cubans within Hive but also to be able to claim accounts for new users by consuming resources. We see a great future in the use of Hive in our country and so we will continue to focus on promoting Hive inside Cuba as we have done so far and be able to support more members of our community.

Above all, we are excited to give back to Hive as Testigos, improving its stability by being an active part of the network's base and strengthening the Hispanic community in every Hive space.

Hoy tenemos la agradable noticia de que nuestra comunidad es ahora un Testigo de la mejor blockchain que existe. Desde hoy comenzaremos a aportar a la estabilidad de Hive de la mejor manera posible y con la ayuda de todos ustedes, vuestro voto es clave para esto. Antes de nada, queremos agradecer a @theycallmedan y @taskmaster4450 pues son sus delegaciones las que nos permiten ser testigos. La comunidad cubana estará siempre agradecida con ustedes y con todos los que de una forma u otra nos han apoyado y han hecho posible que estemos en este punto hoy, como @aliento y @eddiespino que desde el inicio nos tendieron la mano.

Para quien no nos conoce, HiveCuba nació de una pequeña comunidad en Telegram y ya ha logrado muchas cosas que eran impensables al inicio. Hemos sido la razón principal para la adopción de Hive en Cuba y es un logro de toda la comunidad. Más allá de @manuphotos, son muchas las personas que han aportado su granito de arena a como @janetedita, @crptogeek, @noakmilo, @nanixxx, @eduardo900613, @jomancub, @manuelernestogr, @karelnt y @aylenmp. Muchos de los logros que hemos tenido han sido posible por la ayuda de todos ellos.

Nuestros planes

Para nadie es un secreto que ser testigo de Hive conlleva una remuneración y nuestra comunidad enfoca todo lo que genera en las actividades que realiza, pero antes de ello, lo que genere el testigo debe ser fundamentalmente para cubrir el costo del servidor. El monto asciende a unos 50 HBD y lo tenemos contratado mediante la buena gente de @privex que nos han ayudado con algunas dificultades (publicación sobre eso en unos días con @manuphotos), también debemos mencionar la ayuda de @arcange y @hivetrending en varias ocasiones, a todos gracias.

¿Qué busca la comunidad con ello?

• Crecer en autonomía para realizar actividades donde se promueva Hive.
• Desarrollar de un sitio web para la comunidad (costo de dominio y servidor).
• Apoyar a actividades físicas propias de la comunidad.
• Cubrir los gastos en material de marketing para colaboraciones en eventos fuera de la comunidad.
• Apoyar actividades que promocionen de alguna forma el uso de Hive.
• Colaborar con otras comunidades hispanas o nuevas.
• Otras (déjanos tus ideas en los comentarios).

Tenemos como idea depender en menor medida de otros proyectos como @valueplan y @hivecreators que tanto nos ha ayudado, y al menos en las cosas pequeñas podamos costearnos lo necesario.

Para eventos grandes como el HiveCubaCon (mayor evento de Hive en Cuba) sí debemos seguir necesitando ayuda, pero para encuentros pequeños o cubriendo gastos esenciales ayudaría mucho. Hay otras cosas que se entienden como buscar aumentar la cantidad de Hive Power de nuestra comunidad, de manera que podamos tener un mayor poder de voto para apoyar a los cubanos dentro de Hive pero también para poder reclamar cuentas para nuevos usuarios mediante el consumo de recursos. Vemos un gran futuro en el uso de Hive en nuestro país y por ello seguiremos enfocándonos en promover Hive dentro de Cuba como hemos hecho hasta ahora y poder apoyar más a los miembros de nuestra comunidad.

Por encima de todo, nos hace ilusión retribuir a Hive como Testigos, mejorando su estabilidad siendo parte activa de la base de la cadena y reforzando la comunidad hispana en cada espacio de Hive.
