Buenas amigos de Hive Cuba, después de más de 7 meses vuelvo a publicar por acá. La idea de la publicación me surgió cuando veía una publicación de @Newnow497 que hablaba de la gestión del internet con el NetLimiter, me pareció muy interesante, ya que con ese software gestionas quién se conecta a internet y hace mejor uso de tu banda hacia internet.
¿Pero que pasa cuando vas a subir imágenes y videos que pesan mucho?
Subir 500 MB es subir 500 MB por muy buena gestión de tu conexión hagas y más si te conectas por datos como la mayoría de nosotros. Ahí es donde entran dos aplicaciones que uso desde hace bastantes años. Una para comprimir imágenes (les adelanto que está brutal), aunque existen muchos servicios y aplicaciones que lo hacen, al menos a mi juicio, ninguna es mejor que las que les traigo(a lo mejor son ideas mías).
Hablemos de RIOT (Radical Image Optimization Tool)
RIOT tiene una interfaz demasiado fácil de usar, puedes comparar el original con la imagen optimizada al instante, puede ver la calidad con la que queda la foto después de optimizada y el peso final del archivo. Como puedes ver en la imagen.
A simple vista no vemos grandes cambios en la imagen, además que no se pixela, o tiene ruido. ¿Qué creen ustedes? No es lo mismo subir 4.08 MB que 90 KB, y aún se puede optimizar más.
Esto lo puede hacer como la barra deslizante que está debajo de ambas fotos.

También puede hacer lo mismo, pero por lotes de imágenes, opción que uso bastante. Sólo basta con definir los parámetros de salida de las fotos y procesarlas. Con unos pocos clics te ahorras un trabajo súper tedioso.
Espero que les sea útil este software y que lo usen para ahorrar un poco de megas y de tiempo en sus subidas internet.

You can also do the same, but in batches of images, an option that I use quite often. Just define the output parameters of the photos and process them. With a few clicks you save a super tedious job.

Sí como comentaba en el post hacía 7 meses sin publicar, mucho trabajo y cero inspiración para escribir, aún no se me da muy bien, la verdad.
Hermano te invito a ver mi tutorial de reducirse el tamaño de los videos. Reduce más del 50 porciento sin perder calidad tampoco 😉

Doy fe como informático y especialista en este tipo de apps, que RIOT es excepcional, realmente muy buena , la uso desde Linux y la verdad reduce sin perdida de calidad las imagenes.
