Hola buenas noches querida comunidad de Hive, me llamo Giselle, pero no es de mi de lo que voy a hablar, hoy vengo con la intención de presentarme ante toda la gran familia que es Hive como una simple creadora de un pequeño proyecto familiar "Tejiendo sueños"; del cual formamos parte mi mamá Giselle, mi cuñada Johanna y por supuesto yo Giselita.

Hello, good evening, dear Hive community, my name is Giselle, but it's not about me that I'm going to talk about, today I come with the intention of introducing myself to the whole great family that is Hive as a simple creator of a small family project "Knitting dreams"; of which my mother Giselle, my sister-in-law Johanna and of course I, Giselita, are part of.

Algo sobre nosotros:

Somos de la provincia de Ciego de Ávila, Cuba y compartimos un gran amor por las artes manuales y sobre todo por el tejido a crochet. Desde pequeña mi mamá me enseñó a tejer, pues ella lo practicaba bastante, tejía centro de mesas, tapetes, juegos de vestir entre otras cosas, aunque ella misma admitía que no le gustaba mucho, pues como la mayoría sugiere es un arte bastante aburrido. En mi caso todo lo contrario, aunque es muy raro verlo se decir que soy una joven que le encanta el tejido, es lo que más me gusta. Mi cuñada al unirse a la familia descubrimos que también compartía el mismo amor pues dedicó parte de su vida a hacer grandes trabajos tejidos, ya que en su familia era una tradición ese talento.

Something about us:

We are from the province of Ciego de Ávila, Cuba and we share a great love for manual arts and especially for crocheting. Since I was little, my mother taught me to knit, because she practiced it a lot, she knitted centerpieces, rugs, dress up games, among other things, although she herself admitted that she did not like it very much, because as most suggest it is a rather boring art. In my case, quite the opposite, although it is very rare to see it, I can say that I am a young woman who loves knitting, it is what I like the most. When my sister-in-law joined the family, we discovered that she also shared the same love because she dedicated part of her life to doing great woven work, since that talent was a tradition in her family. El nacimiento de Tejiendo Sueños:

Tejer era algo que hacíamos no con tanta frecuencia, no teníamos muchos encargos y la verdad tampoco teníamos tiempo yo estudiando y mi mamá y mi cuñada trabajando cada una por su lado. Mi mamá un día decidió dejar el trabajo y ahora con más tiempo vimos la necesidad de incrementar nuestros ingresos y una manera era haciendo lo que más nos gustaba tejiendo, pero no teníamos casi mercado pues los tejidos eran aburridos y poco valorados, ya no llamaban mucho la atención; teníamos que salir del bache. Y entonces nació “Tejiendo sueños" como el motor impulsor que literalmente nos sacó del estanco creativo que estábamos sufriendo y sí señores en estas dos palabras se resume nuestra pasión.

The birth of Weaving Dreams:

Weaving was something that we did not so often, we didn't have many orders and the truth is that we didn't have time to study and my mother and my sister-in-law each working on their own. One day my mother decided to quit work and now with more time we saw the need to increase our income and one way was to do what we liked the most, knitting, but we had almost no market because the fabrics were boring and undervalued, they no longer called much attention; we had to get out of the rut. And then " Weaving Dreams " was born as the driving force that literally took us out of the creative stagnation that we were suffering from and yes, gentlemen, our passion is summed up in these two words.

"Tejiendo sueños"

Tejiendo Sueños en un principio se creó para satisfacer nuestra necesidad de crear algo fuera de lo convencional y saciar la demanda de las personas de tener algo nuevo y llamativo, algo diferente a lo que vemos todos los días, aunque seguiríamos haciendo lo de siempre, siempre y cuando el cliente lo deseara. De eso se trata, de tejer no solo los sueños de las personas sino también los nuestros. Después de aplicar la técnica de los amigurumis, nuestra vida dio el giro que necesitaba porque a partir de ahí fue que nuestro modesto arte nos cautivó cada día más y es gracias a esto que Tejiendo Sueños es más que un negocio familiar, es nuestra pasión, nuestro día a día, nuestras noches, nuestra forma de ver las cosas y es eso lo que queremos transmitirle a toda la comunidad de @hive y en especial a la de @hivecuba.

Weaving Dreams was initially created to satisfy our need to create something out of the ordinary and satisfy people's demand for something new and striking, something different from what we see every day, although we would continue doing the same thing, always. and when the client wants it. After applying the amigurumi technique, our life took the turn it needed because from then on our modest art captivated us more and more and it is thanks to this that Weaving Dreams is more than a family business, it is our passion. our day to day, our nights, our way of seeing things and that is what we want to convey to the entire @hive community and especially to that of @hivecuba.

Primeros pasos con los Amigurumis:

Al empezar a aplicar la técnica tenemos que admitir que no fue muy fácil, era un cambio radical con respecto a lo de siempre, requería o requiere de mucha atención y paciencia porque tenemos que ir contando cada punto para que el patrón salga como se desea. Pero la verdad que valía la pena, pues con cada punto se ve el avance de lo que será el pequeño muñeco, y ver cómo va tomando vida, y cogiendo personalidad, es una sensación tan gratificante que no tiene nada que ver con lo tradicional y aunque al principio se nos dificultaba mucho la obtención de algunos materiales nunca nos detuvo, siempre seguimos haciendo esfuerzos y buscando alternativas para satisfacer al cliente.

Aunque al inicio se nos hacía bien difícil porque era una técnica nueva, que son muñecos que llevan una expresión en su mirada, una terminación diferente del tejido, una exactitud milimétrica e incluso hasta matemática en los patrones, con el tiempo y la práctica hemos logrado aprender y seguimos aprendiendo cada día porque cada personaje es un reto diferente y divertido, y satisfactorias son las sonrisas y la emoción de las personas al entregarle su pequeño muñeco.
