There is no cloud, it's just someone else's computer. Bitcoin exists on the ledger which is run by Miners who validate transactions using their physical hardware, but the network is spread out and 'decentralized' but also centralized thanks to Mining pools. Here on Hive, the miners are called Witnesses and every user can vote for 20 of them, delegating to them our voting shares. In delegated proof of stake, the top 20 witnesses take turns mining a block and then #21, then the top 20 again, then #23. Hive exists in the physical hardware run by the Witnesses, and is held in the wallets controlled by the holders of the keys of those accounts. Hive and BTC are cryptocurrencies, but Bitcoin is a finite supply and a store of value, Hive has built in inflation which is paid to Hive Power holders. I hope this helps.
