@jrcornel put up an interesting post yesterday about the announcement that Voice would not be on EOS. Instead it is going on another chain Block. One created for this purpose.

In the post, there is a cite from the Voice team that it might use other blockchains in the future. With interoperability needed, this might make sense.

Here is the post and check out the video for thoughts on this.

I would love it if Voice was on STEEM. I was shocked to hear it won't be on EOS main net.

i think there would use a Steem fork, because there want to premine Stack :D

But i think if there fork, there will market it like Hell.

We will see :)

The whole point of EOS is to be able to create other blockchains like steem and bitshares quickly. So they will, and that's where they'll launch voice I guess.

Thanks for the shout out! Would be nice if that post got some love as well. :)

Interesting to think about indeed. And it makes sense. Voice will be interoperable. We can see the seeds planted already with the steem Engine EOS tokens. Anything can happen is right.

In the end we are in the same battlefield. We must be inclusive instead of exclusive. It would be awesome to see interoperability between social media chains. There are so many around nowadays, it would unite all those communities together into one big punch!

Regards bro.

Highly rEsteemed!

Thanks for the post.

Summary:

In this video, Task discusses a post by JR Cornell about the Voice platform not running on EOS's mainnet but a separate internal network using EOS-IO software. He speculates on the possibilities of Voice extending to other blockchains, citing Steam and Tron. Task contemplates Dan Larimer's previous comments on Steam and the potential for Voice to operate on multiple blockchains for greater interoperability. He highlights the importance of application performance and user rewards, irrespective of the underlying blockchain. Additionally, he emphasizes the significance of community support and development progress for Steam's long-term viability.

Detailed Article:

The video begins with Task introducing the topic of Voice running on a separate internal network, diverging from the initial plan to operate on EOS's mainnet. He reflects on the expectations set when Voice was first announced, potentially impacting EOS token holders who anticipated its integration. The mention of Dan Larimer's utilization of Steam's testnet for Voice raises questions about the underlying strategy and potential future collaborations.

Task delves into the concept of interoperability, drawing parallels with Splinterlands' engagement with multiple blockchains like Tron and Ethereum. This approach, enabling applications to leverage diverse blockchain ecosystems, is seen as pivotal for widespread adoption and user engagement. Task emphasizes user-centric benefits such as seamless access to different blockchain communities and native tokens for enhanced user experience.

Furthermore, Task discusses Dan Larimer's perspectives on decentralization, focusing on the portability of EOS software across various blockchains to enhance overall network resilience and application flexibility. The possibility of Voice expanding to platforms like Steam is pondered, considering the vibrant Steam community and the potential advantages of tapping into existing user bases.

The narrative shifts towards nurturing community support and fostering development progress, especially in the context of Steam's resilience amidst market fluctuations. Task underlines the enduring appeal of platforms with sustained user engagement and ongoing development activities, contrasting this with short-term market rallies that may draw attention but lack long-term substance.

In conclusion, Task encourages contemplation on the evolving landscape of blockchain applications, highlighting the dynamic nature of this space and the potential for unexpected developments. The video prompts viewers to consider the possibilities of cross-chain functionalities, community contributions, and the enduring value of platforms like Steam in the blockchain ecosystem's evolution.
