Too hot to drive to another coast
Although we really missed going to the Costa Tropical during the hot summer months, we didn't want to risk getting car trouble along the way or wander on the flea market while it was already unbearable in the sun at 10 AM. This meant we skipped the markets for most of the summer. In June though, just before the real heat arrived, we were craving the food from a particular restaurant and decided to hop in the car and go for it.
The ambiance is amazing
I love how cute the restaurant looks even though I didn't have any clear pictures of it sadly. I will take my new camera when we return to make sure I write a solid review including amazing pictures to do the restaurant justice. We never go there without a reservation because I've never seen it empty in all these times we were there. I wouldn't risk driving all the way there and then finding a full restaurant without free tables.
Our order
As last time, we had a chicken pate with fresh bread which I really didn't like but my boyfriend is crazy about it. I used to love pate years ago but not anymore, I just ate a bit of the homemade bread instead.
As you can see a part was already gone before I took the picture, lol.
As we both had some amazing food the first time we went here, we ordered the same thing. This means I ordered the most amazing and well-balanced salad I've ever eaten in a restaurant:
There's ham, goat cheese, salmon, avocado and many more in it, it's really an explosion of flavors this salad. I love it.
We ended up sharing the salad as well as the dish my boyfriend ordered:
Lamb chops with yoghurt dressing. I'm sorry that I can't share more than one picture but my boyfriend already started eating while I was taking pictures, haha.
Finally, our daughter had chicken croquettes. They were really good but she didn't like the tiny bits of ham inside. She is not fond of that taste so she only ate a few and we took the rest home. It's a shame she doesn't like the ham parts because they were really good and fried in fresh oil, which is not the case in all restaurants.
Can't wait
Until we go back there and eat at this place again. With the difference that next time I will take my camera for the food pictures. Not sure when we'll go though, it may take some time.

And you're going to leave us with the mystery of which is that wonderful restaurant hahaha we'll have to wait for the next visit? Yep, that salad looks yummy, and so does everything else, nice presentation.
