A delicious hamburger in Café Bracamonte (Esp/Ing)

Otra experiencia culinaria me trae de regreso a la comunidad. Alrededor de las 6:30 pm de la tarde, caminando por las cercanías de la plaza Bolívar llegó hasta mis sentidos una ráfaga de calor agradable acompañada de un aroma a carne y pollo a la parrilla que me dejó impactada. De inmediato me percaté que Café Bracamonte todavía permanecía abierto, lo cual era extraño debido a la hora.

Another culinary experience brings me back to the community. Around 6:30 pm in the evening, walking around the vicinity of Plaza Bolivar, a blast of pleasant heat came to my senses accompanied by an aroma of grilled meat and chicken that left me in awe. I immediately noticed that Café Bracamonte was still open, which was strange due to the hour.

Me acerqué atraída por la curiosidad, para averiguar si aquel embriagador aroma emanaba del local, cuya decoración navideña estaba en sintonía con la Plaza Bolívar. Admito que parecía hipnotizada, como si me hubiese perdido en un bosque y llegué por casualidad a una casa de golosinas, lo que le pasó a Hansel y Gretel, pero acá era un negocio que vende comida. Le pregunté al chico encargado qué había para comer y me ofreció dos tipos de hamburguesas; carne y pollo.

I approached, attracted by curiosity, to find out if that intoxicating aroma emanated from the store, whose Christmas decorations were in tune with the Plaza Bolivar. I admit that I seemed hypnotized, as if I had gotten lost in a forest and arrived by chance to a candy house, what happened to Hansel and Gretel, but here it was a business that sells food. I asked the guy in charge what there was to eat and he offered me two types of hamburgers; beef and chicken.

Pedí que me prepararan una de pollo para llevar y me senté en sus cómodas instalaciones a esperar. El empleado me comentó que ahora tienen un nuevo horario de trabajo hasta las 10:00 pm, así que se unen a la vida nocturna de la zona para ofrecer una alternativa para degustar comida rápida.

I asked them to prepare a chicken to go and sat down in their comfortable facilities to wait. The employee told me that they now have new business hours until 10:00 pm, so they are joining the nightlife in the area to offer an alternative for fast food.

Disfruté de algunos videos musicales y en unos 15 minutos me trajeron mi pedido. No pude evitar abrir el envase y tomar fotografías. La hamburguesa se veía apetitosa y, además, tenía una ración de papas fritas adicional.

I enjoyed some music videos and in about 15 minutes my order was brought to me. I couldn't help but open the package and take pictures. The burger looked appetizing, plus it had an extra serving of fries.

La hamburguesa no me decepcionó, la milanesa de pollo estaba muy bien condimentada. Los vegetales se sentían frescos tras cada mordisco y el queso amarillo siempre aporta un sabor único. En cuanto a las salsas, tenía una que predominaba, queso cheddar fundido.

The burger did not disappoint, the chicken milanese was very well seasoned. The veggies felt fresh after every bite and the yellow cheese always adds a unique flavor. As for the sauces, I had one that was predominant, melted cheddar cheese.

Por su parte, las papas aportaron ese toque crujiente. Estas tenían el toque justo de sal. A pesar de que la hamburguesa era sencilla, estaba deliciosa, justamente porque el protagonista principal era el filete de pollo y no el exceso de salsas u otros ingredientes que por lo regular se añaden para disimular la poca cantidad de carne añadida y además crear la sensación de más volumen entre los panes. Así que elegí muy bien mi cena.

For their part, the potatoes provided that crunchy touch. They had just the right touch of salt. Although the burger was simple, it was delicious, precisely because the main protagonist was the chicken fillet and not the excess of sauces or other ingredients that are usually added to disguise the small amount of meat added and also to create the sensation of more volume between the buns. So I chose my dinner very well.
