RE: Cravings Satisfied: A Street Food Adventure!🍔🍟🍿

in Hive Food17 days ago

Hello Marfe. Very entertaining blog, I loved reading it and learning about philippine street food. Many things that I had never heard or name but that I would try, although that looks like an egg no hahahaha.

I give you a little tip, in this type of publications where cultural issues are shared is always interesting to share the prices of things in USD, so that we in other parts of the world can have reference of whether it is expensive or cheap :) It is always interesting to compare how economies work in other countries.

I wish you a lot of success with your blog. best regards!

Thank you so much @lauramica for appreciating my blog, maybe on my next blog about food and the likes, I will include prices both in peso and usd, thank you for your kind suggestion.

By the way, yes balut is an egg. Balut is a popular street food in the Philippines and other Southeast Asian countries, which is a developing duck embryo boiled and eaten from the shell. It cost from 15-30 peso or roughly 0.258 - 0.516 USD.

I searched the internet a bit more about it and I would definitely never try that! hahahahahahahaha it's very impressive. But it's also very cheap indeed

Hahaha, that's okay it's not everyone's cup of tea but most of us like it, it's addictive😅.
