I dey for under this trees now and am not ready to go home today on till I have more than enough of this wonderful fruit with a great test.
Botanically it's called Chrysophyllum albidum, and popularly known as African star apple, which belongs to the plant family Sapotaceae.
This is an edible tropical fruit known by various tribal names in Nigeria and also been called a lot of Names in Nigeria.
It is called Utieagadava in Urhobo, Agbalumo in Yoruba, Udara in Igbo, Efik and Ibibio; Ehya in Igala, Agwaluma in Hausa tribes of Nigeria.
In Nigeria this is the time and season for the famous Udara fruit and in different part of the country a lot of people mostly women and young lady's love it.
