¿A dónde vamos? ¡Pallá! [Spa][Eng]

Hace un rato que no te escribo y he extrañado hacerlo así que aprovechando el día libre pensé que sería un buen plan comenzar a cultivar esta relación de nuevo.

Quiero compartir contigo la recomendación de un sitio en el centro que me ha resultado confortable, ya he ido unas cuantas veces y me gustaría que pudieras ir también.

Te quiero comentar sobre “Pallá”, queda al frente de la plaza del banco central y también está cerca de la Zona Educativa. ¿Cómo llegamos a él? Bueno, resulta que un día queríamos ir a otro lugar a comer pero aunque caminamos mucho, no dábamos con el sitio.

It's been a while since I've written to you and I've missed doing it so taking advantage of the day off I thought it would be a good plan to start cultivating this relationship again.
I want to share with you the recommendation of a place in the center that I have found comfortable, I have already been there a few times and I would like you to be able to go there too.
I want to tell you about "Pallá", it is in front of the central bank square and it is also close to the Educational Zone. How did we get to it? Well, it turns out that one day we wanted to go to another place to eat but even though we walked a lot, we couldn't find the place.

De hecho, no tenemos muy claro si era el hambre pero en toda la calle nos olía a comida, volteábamos y eran que si una peluquería, un centro de copiado o cualquier otro local menos un restaurant.

Caminos en círculos y al no dar con el restaurant que estábamos buscando, cuando ya bajábamos hacia nuestra vieja confiable (Artesano), recordamos que habíamos visto varias publicaciones de “Pallá” en Instagram y decidimos darle una oportunidad.

Es un espacio acogedor donde cuentan con pastelería, coctelería, heladería, un pequeño bodegón y karaoke con temática dependiendo del día de la semana. Todo está muy bien decorado y resulta lindo para dedicarle algunas fotografías.

Ya hemos ido unas cuantas veces, pero me quiero centrar en contarte, que tienen un menú ejecutivo. Es un menú muy completo porque viene con un caldo, proteína, más dos contornos por ($5,00). Si cancelas ($1,00) adicional puedes incluir un mini postre y un café. Entonces, el menú completo viene saliendo en ($6,00). ¡Si, leíste bien!

In fact, we are not sure if it was hunger, but the whole street smelled of food, we turned around and it was a hairdressing salon, a copy center or any other place except a restaurant.
We walked in circles and when we didn't find the restaurant we were looking for, as we were walking down towards our old reliable (Artesano), we remembered that we had seen several posts of "Pallá" on Instagram and decided to give it a try.
It is a cozy space where they have pastries, cocktails, ice cream, a small bodegón and karaoke with a theme depending on the day of the week. Everything is nicely decorated and it is a nice place to take some pictures.
We have been there a few times already, but I want to focus on telling you, that they have an executive menu. It is a very complete menu because it comes with a broth, protein, plus two contours for ($5.00). If you pay an additional ($1.00) you can include a mini dessert and a coffee. So, the complete menu comes out to ($6.00). Yes, you read that right!

La comida está muy buena. Comenzamos con un consomé, estaba muy bueno de sabor, pero te aclaro, es nada más un consomé, no es una sopa con verduras. Nosotros pedimos pollo y carne strogonoff que es una salsa divina con champiñones y cebollas. Yo quise acompañarlo de ensalada y papas fritas, él pidió puré con tajadas.

Estuvimos deleitándonos con los sabores y al terminar, nos preguntaron cuál mini postre queríamos. Siempre he sido amante del pie de limón así que me pareció una buena opción y él quiso una trufa, los postres llegaron junto con dos cafés negros pequeños.

The food is very good. We started with a consommé, it was very good, but let me clarify, it is just a consommé, it is not a soup with vegetables. We ordered chicken and beef strogonoff, which is a divine sauce with mushrooms and onions. I wanted to accompany it with salad and french fries, he asked for mashed potatoes with slices.
We were delighting in the flavors and when we finished, we were asked which mini dessert we wanted. I have always been a lemon pie lover so it seemed like a good choice and he wanted a truffle, the desserts arrived along with two small black coffees.

Ciertamente, es un mini postre, te adjuntaré evidencia porque nos resultó muy divertido su tamaño pero de sabor estaban muy buenos, hay presentaciones más grandes por si te apetece pero ese era el que se ajustaba al menú ejecutivo.

La atención al público se lleva todos los puntos y la última vez que pasamos por ahí presenciamos lo del karaoke, sinceramente resultó muy divertido. Recientemente, me enteré que ahora puedes agrandar el menú cancelando ($2,00) adicionales, esa era una idea que había planteado al terminar de comer porque me pareció que estaba divino pero necesitaba un poco más.

Certainly, it is a mini dessert, I will attach evidence because we found its size very funny but the taste was very good, there are larger presentations if you feel like it but that was the one that fit the executive menu.
The customer service gets all the points and the last time we passed by we witnessed the karaoke, honestly it was a lot of fun. Recently, I found out that you can now upgrade the menu by paying an additional ($2.00), that was an idea I had brought up at the end of the meal because I thought it was divine but needed a little more.

Su slogan dice que “¡El centro de Caracas ya tiene su lugar!” y la verdad, es que tiene buen ambiente para ir a pasar el rato, bien sea que vayas a almorzar, merendar o celebrar algún festejo. Ahora sabemos que si quisiéramos celebrar algo junto a nuestras amistades, podemos apartar algunas mesas y cuentan con estacionamiento así que con cada detalle que te doy, espero estarte convenciendo de pasarte por allá.

Their slogan says that "Downtown Caracas already has its place!" and the truth is that it has a good atmosphere to hang out, whether you go for lunch, a snack or to celebrate a party. Now we know that if we want to celebrate something with our friends, we can set aside some tables and they have parking, so with every detail I give you, I hope to be convincing you to stop by.

Puede que te estés preguntando: ¿Qué más venden? Tienen un menú bastante amplio que cuenta con alitas de pollo, costillas, hamburguesas, pizzas, parrillas, pastas, pastichos y repostería. Me falta el dato de que cuentan con delivery así que está todo a nuestro favor para pasar un rato agradable en otro espacio del centro de Caracas.

You may be wondering: What else do they sell? They have quite a large menu with chicken wings, ribs, burgers, pizzas, grills, pastas, pastichos and pastries. I'm missing the fact that they have delivery so everything is in our favor to spend a nice time in another space in downtown Caracas.
