The Bank Of Nova Scotia a.k.a the A.A Heaps Building was designed by architects Darling and Pearson, a firm from Toronto. The building was constructed between the years of 1908-1910.

This "Free Renaissance" styled structure is located on Portage Avenue. Some beautiful features this building has includes the dome on the top, the colonnades and the ornaments.

And of course, the detail around the entrance.

This is one of Winnipeg's most stunning historic architectural marvels and the artistry behind it shouldn't be ignored.
