Gyeongju-city is very special place. You can look at King’s tombs by the street in downtown.
When I had been Egypt, I need to take a bus to look at the Pyramid or Tombs.
The relics were far from the residence of people.
It might be common circumstances all over the world except some rare cases.
The tombs of Shilla dynasty in Gyeongju are belong to this rare case.
You can see the great tombs anyplace in Gyeongju.
The tombs are the part of Gyeongju people’s lives.
They are living with the tombs together.
The tombs were not only kid’s play ground but also the place for the lovers and the park for old people.
In this posting I’d like to show you the relation between the tombs and people through the Photos as below.
You can see Girls walking on the road by the tombs
![P2250263.JPG](
The tombs are not far from peoples' daily life
The urchins were playing with sliding down from the top of the tomb
lovers were whispering
Oldman was walking between the tombs
I was sitting at Caffe and looking the tombs of out side with drinking a cup of coffee.
In my opinion, Gyeongju must be the best place to have a dialogue with the past.
This place look like a small desert.
their place was rich in ancestral relics.
Exactly,you are correct 😎😎
This kind of place is really best for those people who had been burned out from their everyday life routine. Taking time to be alone in this lace makes you feel more better. I can see how peaceful and relaxing is this place. As @slowwalker said,

really a long history and the best place to have a dialogue with the past , learn from it . thank you .
also really enjoy it!
Yeah, that's true. If you are at a place where your visit places are far away then it become really difficult to go there because when you are travelling you are already tired.
I really love the traditional dresess of the chinees people.
a dialogue with the past....very poetic, @slowwalker.
Incorporating the past into the present is the best way of honouring our roots - it's what every human being does - organically assimilating past experiences into our present narrative.
I used to draw a number line on the chalk board to illustrate to my students that we are 99.4% Past. We live out of the suitcase of the past.
Imagine if we lost our personal memory - not only would we lose our identity, we couldn't even do up our shoe laces or find our way home.
As Pasternak once wrote, "In me are people without names--stay-at homes, children, lovers --I am conquered by them all and that is my only victory."
gyeonju was surreal..
Nice photography

Yeah, that is proper. In case you are at an area where your visit places are far away then it emerge as absolutely difficult to move there due to the fact while you are traveling you're already tired.
I honestly love the conventional dresess of the pakistani peoples.

interesting post @slowwalker
posting very nice friends, i really like posting friends.
There are some culture where tombs are far away from people's lives. Although the living people only visit their dead relatives once a year, they still celebrate the dead person's memories.
That one visit each year is memorable, since it only happen once. It has to be something important.
You have taken some great photos as always!
ah - that's Taiwan... 😀 looks strange but somehow hostile...
Thank you! @peekbit
Wow. The tombs are quite interesting to watch.
Gyeongju looks like this too
When the spring blooms, my daughter will have to catch up with her plan for the race. ^^
I really enjoy your series, the pictures are a great insight into some parts of the world I'm not likely to get to any time soon!
I'm a big fan of history in far flung lands, I love to see the old or traditional style of living and see how other cultures have grown.
Keep up the great posts - I look forward to your shots from Egypt!
really a special place ,,, this is very beautiful my friend ,,, i think it's a park with some artificial mountain. apparently not.
the gyeongju community is merged with their culture, how much they appreciate their culture and heritage. that's what always makes me proud of korean people. this is an excellent example for all.
but, every place has a different culture. in my place, the tomb can not be free like that.
thanks my friend has shared this matter. this is very beneficial for all.
I Proud of you my friend @slowwalker
@slowwalker thanks for sharing this great post keep it up 😊
Photography nice
Wow!
Beautiful pictures in an interesting post. Thanks for sharing.
His grave is like a hill, there is no tombstone ... So how do we recognize their names?
Gyeongju is a beauty to behold with very beautiful land view. History and people are in close contact in Gyeongju and that's lovely. Your photography is also fantastic, thanks for sharing.
every human being has the same soul, wherever we go will find the name of his death ,, and all will be at the funeral, a good story friend, successful @slowwalker

Hello! Your post is always interesting, exciting. And with beautiful photos.
Thank you very much for finding out a lot of interesting info !!!
What I love being on the steemit community is the travel photography I’ve never even heard about Gyeongju and the tombs. I enjoy cemetery. Here in NYC we have one the Largest cemetery called Green wood. You can see it traveling on the train. And I lived near it. In the summer it’s habited by Parrots. No one has an explanation as to why they come there it’s amazing to see. Thank you for sharing
