One man Captain in both national team of football and cricket.

Reginald Arskin Foster. Does the name look unfamiliar? Tip Foster might not seem to be unfamiliar. He was more familiar with that name.

Foster played just eight Tests for England.it is nothing at all. But there is such a record that no one could break even more than 100 years!

In 1903, during a tour of Australia, Foster was called to England's Ashes squad. An innings of 287 runs in an innings in Sydney was a great innings. This was the highest individual innings of the Test for the next 27 years.

Foster's record was broken in 1930 by his Swadesy Andy Sandhom, who scored 325 runs. However, Foster did not have to dismiss Foster's record for more than a hundred years, and no one else could have been able to get away from it. This record is still Foster.
Foster was England's captain in 1907 in a three-Test series against South Africa. His cricket career also stops in that series.

Foster's football career started in England, before cricket. From 1900 to 1902 England played five matches. His debut was against Wales. His first international goal against Ireland was in the second match.
