DID YOU KNOW? YUGA MEASUREMENT INBUILT AT ANGKOR WAT TEMPLE!!

in #history7 years ago

The key measurements of the monuments such as the distance from the entrance bridge to the centre of the sanctuary, are based on Hindu cosmology.

The duration of the earth is 4,320,000,000 year, which is one thousand Mahayugas = a single day of Brahma. After this, the earth is burned up and dissolved into the cosmic ocean for an equivalent amount of time- the night of Brahma. Then the process of creation, maintenance, and destruction is repeated, as it has been repeated an infinite number of times.

Each Mahayuga is divided into four Yugas.

The first is Krita/Satya Yugam, the golden age, with 1,728,000 years. The distance between the entrance to the outer wall and the centre of the complex, which is the eastern stairway to the top most point of the central enclosure is 1,728 hat.

The second period is the Treta Yuga of 1,296,000 years, when man is somewhat corrupted. The distance between the entrance to the tower is 1,296 hat.

The third Yuga is the Dvapara Yuga, of 864,000 years, when man is almost without goodness. The distance across the water of the moat is 432 hat.

Even the measurements of the interior spaces of Angkor Wat, the number of its towers and stairs, the number of deities on Sumeru, coincide with lunar or solar cycles.

Our ancestors did built this for a purpose and it still carries a great mystery that beyond our reach.
The truth will be debunked very soon!
