CERN - 1950

Online in 2008?

It is cited on the Internet that the Large Hadron Collider located at CERN went online in the year 2008, but this video could provide evidence that it was in fact being constructed back in the 1950's. In the link below you will find a YouTuber's analysis of this evidence, and as extraordinary it may sound, it is plausible.

I found the footage to be as true as I can interpret, but it is interesting to think that post World War Two, a giant machine such as the LHC was being designed and built, it most certainly gives me a different perspective on the history of CERN, what do you think?
