Division Of The Islam Religion

in #history7 years ago

The creator of Islam Religion who is a unique Prophet called Mohammed. He was dead in A.C. 632. Since he thought that he is the only one Prophet of the Islam, he did not settle a successor to manage the Islam. The remaining believers set up a position called Caliph to lead Islam Religion.

Mohammed

The main problem was who can be the Caliph. Some of the believers thought the believers who have blood relationship with Mohammed can be Caliph. Some of them thought the most powerful and talented believer should be the Caliph no matter the blood relationship. As a result, the former was defined as Shiite, the latter was defined as Sunni.

I am not islamic nor of any religion, and i actually quite agree with how islamic religious law are like. Though i only know some very superficial things about them, but i always believed that all big religious groups that survived centuries of time have their goals of guiding people to kindness and generosity. Islamic isnt as bad as what the media have shaped it, as my personal experience in interacting or visiting islamic place are actually quite pleasing and find many kind people who had their own religious beliefs!! Thank you for the information in your post, steem on!!

Since he thought that he is the only one Prophet of the Islam, he did not settle a successor to manage the Islam.

This is wrong information. The prophet Muhammad (pbuh) didn't think that he was the only prophet of Islam, there are many prophets in Islam. Muhammad is the last prophet.
