OSIRIS or JESUS CHRIST: Another lie in history?

in #history7 years ago

Some scholars in comparative mythology have great reasons to think that a good part of Jesus Christ was the result of the adaptation of Osirian elements in the formation of his character.

Also, what does it have to do with Jesus Christ?

— In the story of Osiris there are various elements that have probably been taken by the creators of Christianity. As for example: Osiris after dying for the goddess Isis, three days later he comes back to life.

Some biblical scholars believe that the feast of Abydos for the commemoration of the resurrection of Osiris coincides with the dates of Holy Week, they also see some connection in the Osirian theophagy and the Eucharist, when their devotees ate Osiris in the form of bread and They took the wine representing their blood.

Pujol shows his book "Jesus Christ 3000 years before Christ" the multiple connections between Jesus Christ and the Egyptian cult of Serapis, the Hellenized Osiris. On the same subject, the Egyptologist Ariel Villazón even sees physiognomic similarities between the statues of Serapis and the traditional image of Jesus (bearded man with long hair). The French-style facade of Jesus Christ was stolen from Serapis Christ of Egypt.

Serapis (Osiris), was a Hellenized version of Osiris, was a cultured God among the Jews of northern Egypt during the Hellenistic period which comprised from 323 a.C - 30 a.C.

There is a great similarity between the story of Satmi and part of the Gospel of St. Matthew, which I explain below.

Tale of Satmi: Now, Satmi went to bed one night and dreamed that a luminous spirit spoke to him saying: Mahituaskhit, your wife, has conceived of you. The child that will give birth will be called Senosiris, and there will be many prodigies that he will do.
Matthew I, 20-21: Joseph, in dreams, appeared the angel of the Lord, who told him. Take Mary, your wife, into your house; what engendered in her is of the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, you will call him Jesus because he will save his people.

There are several similarities between these mythical beings,

being father of Osiris a God and his mother a mortal virgin; In turn, he is born in a cave or in a humble stable on December 25 before three shepherds. He offers his followers the opportunity to be born again through the rites of baptism.

Bearing in mind one of the characteristics of Jesus Christ, Osiris could also miraculously turn water into wine in a nuptial ceremony.

The worship of Serapis also presents several parallels with current Christian customs. The followers of Serapis believed that repentance was necessary for salvation. The priests of this Egyptian god, exercised confession and the forgiveness of sins by immersion in water. All these customs were inherited by the first Christians and have continued to this day.

Over the decades, history has filled us with dogmas and doctrines, but really the question is, where do they come from?

We have been led to believe that the biblical account of Jesus was made under divine inspiration, but is it really so? For no one is it a secret that each of the books that make up the bible and the order in which they are was decided by the Catholic Church for several years. And that these editions have been "refreshed to the modern language".

We can also notice how these teachings and doctrines contradict themselves irrefutably, if really these scriptures and doctrines were inspired by a superior deity, why do we encounter so many contradictions when we dig deeper into that history?

Proof of this is the story of Jesus and the story of Osiris, where we can find endless similarities between the main deity of Christianity and the story of ancient Egypt.

*To my consideration, everything is a simple manipulation as they did with December 25 and other pagan dates that were adopted and transformed by the church to gain followers in a more blatant manner.
