RE: When does a myth become truth Pt10a - The Giants.

in #history7 years ago

Fantastic posts. It's a subject I have casually looked into over the years. Physical evidence may be thin on the ground (though not entirely absent), there is certainly plenty of anecdotal evidence. As you say, they are mentioned in religious texts and spiritual legends from all over the earth. Giants are even depicted in carvings at archeological sites from Mesopotamia to Egypt. I doubt that all are allegorical and there's truth behind the myths, to what degree, is open to debate and I for one, will be looking forward to more of your articles.

Thank you for the kind words.
You obviously know your history, this is one of the pictures I like......

Considering the incredible works of art, buildings and artifacts they created I doubt they would get the scale of a man and a giraffe wrong. Interesting.

Very interesting. It's either a massive human or a tiny giraffe, my money is on the human. I think mainstream archeology is sadly lacking. Dogmatically clinging to their "theories" with an almost religious zeal, at the cost of new, groundbreaking information in the light of new evidence. Thank you.

Exactly, evidence that doesn't fit the accepted narrative is hidden, destroyed or I suspect sold off to private collections. It's a disgrace.
