Mysterious snapshots of the camera: an unknown man made 445 self from the 1930s to the 1960s in America's photographic shots.
A collection of enigmatic retro pictures was purchased by Donald Lokuta at an auction in New York in 2012. Now the collection of portraits of an unknown person is shown at the exhibition "445 Portraits of Man" at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Everyone is puzzled by one question: who is he?
No one knows exactly who this man was and why he did so many of his own portraits for 30 years. But there is one plausible version. Perhaps he repaired the photobooth, and took pictures to test the equipment.
