RE: Motorcycle Travel Series by @velimir 'Medic!' (Part #403)

Modern medicine definitely made a big step forward. Every year, doctors find new medicines and the quality of medicine grows. Along with the level of medicine, life expectancy also increases. Many serious diseases are currently (if they are detected in the early stages of development) can be cured or significantly prolonged the lifespan.
In the Middle Ages, medicine was really underdeveloped. I read about this article a long time ago. Some ways of treating diseases and injuries were really very painful and cruel. This is reflected in some pictures of past centuries. Especially severe is dental treatment and surgical operations (if it can be called so). An interesting and shocking picture.
Thank you:)
