Hello. First, thanks for the good comment. Next, I'm glad you found the post interesting. I stumbled onto the topic because two of my favorite characters in history are Voltaire and other writer's of the enlightenment and Catherine the Great (who is the secret love of my life, but I was born a couple centuries late). When I found that the library had Voltaire's personal library and Catherine founded the library to begin with I wanted to know more. They are both definitely worth a Google. Last question about the Skripal deal in the U.K. Maybe the Russians did it and maybe they didn't. There isn't any proof at this point and the U.K. has violated dozens of diplomatic norms. They have acted like children in my opinion, but most of the British citizens don't care. They want conspiracy and intrigue to explain their miserable lives instead of looking at the systems they have created to enslave themselves. Create a foreign "boogeyman" to blame everything on. The U.S. has done the same thing. It is hysterical, but scary at the same time.
