Such things should be maximally protected. we are not aware of the importance of history as the future itself and we are not aware of how much a man was smart before 20 centuries. Perhaps architecture has progressed to this day, but some people do not take advantage of the knowledge they can use and want to live in ignorance.
It is a great pity if there are no written records from that time. it never occurred to google this and thank you for sharing it :)
