The eleventh day of the 401th anniversary of the Roman Senate thanked the Iranian authorities for giving religious freedom to Christians, which was placed on the agenda of that day's parliamentary talks.
Yazdgerd I, the Sassanid king of Iran, who reigned in 399, after accepting the request of the Roman government to grant religious freedom to Christians in the territory of Iran, despite the opposition of the Zoroastrian priests, had agreed to this request.
