North Jersey seems to get some bad flooding every several years, by nothing like what happens in places like Texas and the deep South.
I couldn't imagine the damage real flooding causes and how long it would take to get back to normal!

It took a long time to feel normal. We had to buy the cheapest materials to replace the floors and carpet. It was this ugly pink laminate tile for the bathrooms and purple carpet for the bedrooms. Took a month and we had to live in the living room.
