When I first started reading your article I was saying to myself wait, what about Phelps. I seriously didn't know how many he had won. He is a freaking machine though. I wasn't alive either, but I would imagine Spitz was all over the Wheatie's boxes back then!

yeah, there is a good chance he was the Wheaties dude for a year or so. haha. I hated that cereal but we still bought it for the michael jordan posters when i was a kid.
