The Ship TITANIC
Artie Moore was a Welsh who made many contributions to radio and wireless communication technologies.
At a young age he built a radio station which allows him to receive signals from all over the world.
In 1911, Moore intercepted a message from the Government of Italy that a declaration of war against Libya. In 1912, Moore became famous after he read a message from the ill-fated RMS Titanic a few hours before his death.
On April 15, 1912, Moore received a Morse code signal from the Titanic. The signal that gives the location of the ship and announced that the ship had hit an iceberg and sank. After getting that message Moore immediately providing information to local authorities, but they don't believe her story about the ship that sank was considered. It was not until two days after the crash that the official news of the disaster reached the mainstream press, and was told that Moore has been translating code from the Titanic over 4,000 miles away.
Moore news radio makers spread across Europe and he was offered a job by Guglielmo Marconi, which he accepted. Moore will continue to make many contributions to radio and wireless communications. However, for the rest of his life, he was known for the Titanic distress signal code translator before anyone else.
